Trademark Policy
The doc.haus code and logo files are covered by the applicable copyright licences described in LICENSING.md, including GPL-3.0-only for doc.haus-owned artwork. This policy does not restrict the rights to copy, modify or redistribute those files under their copyright licences.
The doc.haus name and logo also identify the project as trademarks of SureScale.ai. Trademark rights are reserved separately: a copyright licence does not grant permission to present another product, service or distribution as official doc.haus or as endorsed by SureScale.ai.
What this means
- You may state, accurately, that your work is built on, uses, forks, or is compatible with doc.haus — nominative use. ("Built on doc.haus." "A fork of doc.haus.")
- You may not use the "doc.haus" name or logo as the name or branding of your own product, service, or distribution, or in any way that suggests doc.haus or SureScale.ai produces, sponsors, or endorses it.
- If you distribute a modified version, give it a different name so users are not confused about its origin.
